Defining the roles of endocytic accessory proteins in CME

Using in vivo approaches, including siRNA knockdown, CRISPR knockout and rescue experiments coupled to quantitative total internal reflection fluorescence microscopy (TIR-FM) we are defining the function of EAPs and the hierarchy of molecular events that govern CCP maturation and CCV formation (Mettlen et al., MBoC, 2009; Antonescu et al., MBoC, 2011, Aguet et al., Dev. Cell, 2013). This work is funded by NIH grants MH61345 and GM73165.
