Cerebral Autoregulation, Brain Perfusion, and Neurocognitive outcomes after Traumatic Brain Injury (CAPCOG-TBI)

The focus of this study is to determine whether neurodegeneration and cognitive outcomes change after a year following a moderate to severe traumatic brain injury (TBI). We would like to know if cerebral blood flow (CBF) regulation remains altered during the chronic stage in TBI survivors and if CBF regulation is associated with brain functional integrity.

The study is funded by The National Institute of Health- Research Project Grant (RO1) and is a 5-year observational study that will be enrolling from 2024-2027.
