We have highlighted notable disparities in access to care and outcomes among patients with chronic liver disease and/or HCC across racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic groups. We have shown that several social determinants of health significantly influence screening and treatment receipt, as well as overall survival. Our research underscores the importance of addressing these disparities through policy, education, and targeted interventions to ensure equitable care for all patients.
