Dr. Shah has been awarded a $200,000 Haggerty Foundation grant to test and validate a novel transcranial pre-clinical focused ultrasound system to deliver viral gene therapy to discrete regions of the brain. According to Dr. Shah, this technology will help accelerate the clinical translation of viral gene therapy delivery with focused ultrasound.
