Our Principal Investigator
Christian LoBue, Ph.D.
Dr. LoBue evaluates, diagnoses, and guides clinical management for patients with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders. His research has focused on informing what role traumatic brain injuries, including concussions, may play in developing cognitive problems later-in-life. His scientific findings led to publishing one of the first theoretical models of how and why traumatic brain injuries are related to neurodegenerative disorders. Dr. LoBue has also integrated his expertise in brain behavior relationships to conduct clinical trials into potential new treatments for the cognitive and behavioral problems faced in neurodegenerative disorders. His lab is focused on understanding whether dysfunctional brain circuitry underlying problems can be modulated and improved with noninvasive brain stimulation technology.
