A biochemist at heart, I study basic physiological processes that are conserved throughout evolution. Tissue-injury repair is a fascinating process essential for organismal survival.

I am building a lab that will combine biochemistry and mouse genetics to probe the molecular and cellular mechanisms of tissue repair, to better understand associated pathologies such as cancer.
