Autonomic Nervous System Dysfunction after Traumatic Brain Injury
A focus of our research laboratory is understanding how traumatic brain injury (TBI). impacts autonomic nervous system (ANS) function. We are studying how the ANS function is different in those hospitalized with moderate to severe TBI compared with healthy individuals. We are also investigating how changes in ANS function impacts outcomes up to one-year post-injury.
