We are highly committed to increase diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in science.
Here are some of the cornerstones of the Oh lab philosophy:
- Increase gender and racial diversity. We welcome everyone regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or age.
- Increase socioeconomic diversity. We do not offer unpaid internships for students that often volunteer without pay in basic science labs. Instead, you will be offered an hourly pay for your work to minimize some of these socioeconomic inequalities.
- Advocacy. An important aspect of valuable mentorship is to actively advocate for trainees. As a member of the Oh lab, you will get nominated for awards and speaker opportunities.
-
Getting credit. You will also be a contributing author on manuscripts you are involved in.
Join us in making a commitment together.
