I am a medical oncologist from Japan, and I am honored to be here as I work toward becoming a physician-scientist. My research interests focus on overcoming resistance to cancer immunotherapy and on developing cellular therapies for various malignancies. Ultimately, my goal is to contribute to the cure of advanced cancers.

Xiaoquan Wang
Peking University
Dr. Wang has dedicated his doctoral training to developing novel inhibitors of the cGAS-STING pathway, which plays a crucial role in inflammatory diseases and cancer. Throughout his research, Dr. Wang has focused on understanding the precise pathogenesis of the cGAS-STING pathway in human diseases and exploring therapeutic interventions.
He is committed to uncovering potential molecular events driving disease progression and identifying therapeutic targets and has a profound passion for unraveling the intricate mechanisms behind immune dysregulation in diseases.

My research interests lie at the intersection of molecular biology and translational science. My current lab position gives me the opportunity to connect fundamental molecular mechanisms to innovative therapeutic strategies. I aim to further explore how cellular and genetic interventions can be leveraged to improve health outcomes and advance medical treatments.
