Major responsibilities may include carrying out patient testing and data collection, annotating vocal responses, and analyzing experimental data.
Postdoctoral Research Fellow
We are looking to hire a postdoctoral researcher to contribute to our work studying the electrophysiological correlates of human cognition. The position requires a minimum of a two-year commitment.
The successful applicant will work on analyzing local-field potentials and/or single-unit neuron recordings in human subjects and contribute to the development of a brain-computer interface to modulate cognition using electrical stimulation.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficient MATLAB, Python or related software
- Extensive experience with signal processing, preferably in human intracranial EEG recordings and/or single unit recordings
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Strong background in statistics, including modeling neural systems
- Experience with generating network models and characterizing patterns of network activity
- Experience with machine learning and/or brain-computer interface development
- Familiarity with cognitive science, computational neuroscience, psychology, electrical engineering, or similar field
