Dr. Martin Pomper Named Recipient of American Innovator Award
Dr. Martin G. Pomper, M.D., Ph.D., Professor and Chair of Radiology at UT Southwestern, was named a recipient of the Bayh-Dole Coalition’s American Innovator Award. He was honored alongside Dr. Robert Dannals for their development of Pylarify®, an FDA-approved imaging agent for prostate cancer. Dr. Pomper’s work in molecular imaging and radiopharmaceutical development has advanced precision medicine and improved cancer diagnosis and treatment worldwide.

Dr. Martin Pomper Named 2026 ERF Benedict Cassen Prize Recipient
Dr. Martin G. Pomper, M.D., Ph.D., Professor and Chair of Radiology at UT Southwestern, was named the 2026 recipient of the ERF Benedict Cassen Prize and presented the Benedict Cassen Lecture at the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Annual Meeting (SNMMI). He was recognized for his groundbreaking contributions to PSMA-targeting radiopharmaceuticals, which have transformed the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer.
