Pedro Rosa-Neto, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Rosa-Neto is Professor in the Peter O'Donnell Jr. Brain Institute and in the Departments of Neurology and Radiology. His research efforts are centered on biochemically important neuroimaging and fluid biomarkers in neurodegenerative disorders (especially in Alzheimer’s dementia). This area of investigation is critically important in the era of novel therapies for neurodegenerative disorders. He has published more than 400 peer-reviewed articles in high-profile journals, including Nature Neuroscience, Nature Medicine, The Lancet, and JAMA Neurology

Lab Members

Josh David

Josh is interested in how disease pathophysiology and brain reserve modulate clinical symptoms in neurodegenerative conditions.

Josh David, Member of Rosa-Neto Lab

Josh Eddy

Josh investigates how protein aggregates impose deleterious effects on brain function in neurodegenerative conditions. He works under the co-supervision of Jaime Vaquer-Alicea, Ph.D.

Training the next generation of scientists in the field of neurodegeneration imaging constitutes a core mission of the Translational Neuroimaging Lab. To foster innovation within this domain, we cultivate and utilize a diverse, multidisciplinary team.

Young scholars with an interest in neuroimaging and neurodegeneration are encouraged to submit applications for positions within our laboratory. Given the multidisciplinary nature of our activities, we welcome students holding academic degrees in fields such as biochemistry, chemistry, computer science, statistics, engineering, mathematics, neuroscience, physics, economics, pharmacology, psychology, and medicine.
