Kiran Satani joins the lab
Kiran is our new postdoc who recently earned her Ph.D. at Texas Woman's University. She'll be working on defining PNUTS functions in KSHV lytic reactivation.
July 2024
Kyah Featherston joins the lab
Kyah joined the lab as a Research Assistant. She'll be working on a variety of projects. Welcome Kyah!

Olga Hunter leaves the lab
Olga was the lab manager for the Conrad Lab for 15 years and her departure will leave a huge hole. Olga co-authored nearly all the papers published in the lab during her time here. We're sad to see her go, but wish her the best of luck in her new adventures in Tennessee!

Sung-Kyun (Sean) Park rejoins the lab as visiting scientist
Sean was a postdoc in the lab from 2014-2016 when he worked on the regulation of intron retention on OGT. He now rejoins us for a year as a visiting scientist. This time, he'll work on gene regulation in KSHV. Welcome back, Sean!
February 2024
Minseon Kim leaves the lab
As a postdoc in the lab, Minseon successfully generated several technically challenging tools for the study of export factors in nuclear RNA decay. She is moving on for a new position in her home country of Korea. We know she'll accomplish great things there!
January 2024
Amitabh Ranjan joins the lab
Amitabh is a Research Scientist who previously worked on La-related proteins in Richard Maraia's lab at NIH. We expect he'll work on many projects, but he is starting out by investigating the mechanisms of PNUTS regulation of KSHV gene expression. Welcome Amitabh!
