RNA Club

Introduction to the UT Southwestern RNA Club

Who? RNA Club is an interdepartmental group of scientists from UT Southwestern and nearby north Texas institutions. Our research programs focus on a wide variety of topics that employ diverse experimental approaches. We are faculty, students, postdocs, and research staff with a single unifying interest in RNA.

What? We meet monthly for two 30-minute "works-in-progress" presentations ranging from early stage proposals to recently published studies. Most talks are given by graduate students and postdocs, but new and established PI's are also encouraged to present. Importantly, all meetings are considered confidential to support the sharing of unpublished data. Our goal is to foster an encouraging, supportive, and rigorous environment that provides feedback on RNA-based research projects. We hope that this will promote innovations, collaborations, and generally strengthen the science of everyone involved.

When? Every third Tuesday of the month at 12:30pm. See this year's schedule below.

Where? NL4.124

Why? The mission of UT Southwestern RNA Club is to foster high-quality RNA research by promoting scientific interactions among researchers who share a common interest in RNA Biology.
