Improving CMR sequences for pediatrics
This research program is aimed at improving steady-state magnetic resonance angiography for congenital heart disease through improvements in timing, motion correction, and imaging parameters.
We collaborate with Drs. René Botnar, Markus Henningsson and their team at King’s College London as well as other labs around the world.
Recently our team has been working to improve contrast-enhanced steady state MRA through novel administration techniques.
We presented work to improve pediatric vascular imaging at the recent American College of Cardiology meeting in Washington, D.C. using a new method to find the times with the least cardiac motion. This work was presented by a pediatric resident in our lab, Dr. Maria Batsis.
