- Jul 2026: Lab outing to the Dallas World Aquarium! It was amazing to step from the middle of downtown into a tropical rainforest and then on to an underwater world!
- Jun 2026: We are delighted to welcome back former research mentee Neema Sakariya as a summer intern! We began working together during Shixuan's postdoc years at Stanford, back when Neema was in high school.
- Jun 2026: Congratulations to Nemo Wu on becoming a father! Welcome to the lab’s first baby, Maxine.
- May 2026: A fun week of great science at the SRBR conference with the UTSW chronobiology gang! It was wonderful to reconnect with old friends and meet many new ones.
- Mar 2026: Our friend and former colleague Dr. Steve Chang, the world’s leading expert on mouse lemur cardiology, visited the lab during his trip to UTSW, hosted by Kim Orth.
- Feb 2026: Back at the winter q-Bio conference for an inspiring week of interdisciplinary science and conversations with old friends and new colleagues!
- Jan 2026: Our close friend and former colleague, Dr. Camille Ezran, visited the lab during her first grand tour of Texas.
- Jan-Feb 2026: Our lab quadrupled in size this winter! A huge welcome to our three newest members: Animesh Adhikary, Changhao Li, and Nemo Wu.
- Nov 2025: Our first Texas Society for Circadian Biology & Medicine meeting! It was wonderful to meet colleagues across the state and become part of this vibrant local chronobiology community.
