Biorepository

The Neuroscience Biorepository is designed to facilitate translational research by providing high-quality, deeply annotated biospecimens for laboratory and clinical research. PIs can request the recruitment of special patient populations under our existing IRB approved protocol. This allows researchers to start collecting specimens quickly, efficiently and under standardized protocols. You can be confident that the samples collected will provide high quality data for years to come because we have decades of experience in collection, processing and research of human samples.

Faculty can reach out to either Benjamin Greenberg, M.D., (Biorepository Medical Director) or Dr. Nancy Monson (Biorepository Laboratory Director) to discuss your needs and get started in the Biorepository pipeline. We are particularly delighted to help junior faculty gain solid footing in navigating the details to successfully engage in translational research. The biorepository can also supply previously acquired specimens. PIs with IRB approved protocols to use deidentified samples can request these specimens for research.
