Lab Manager
Isabel graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a B.S. in Neuroscience and joined the Obata Lab in October of 2022. When not in the lab, Isabel enjoys cooking, music, and gaming.
Andrew Schmidt
Research Technician
Andy joined the Obata Lab as a Research Technician in May 2023 after getting his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is currently in the process of applying to medical school. Outside of work, he loves to read science fiction, travel to national parks, and play board games!
Aliza Abbas
Research Technician
Aliza joined the lab in December of 2023. She graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2022 with a B.S. in Psychology and a concentration in Biology. She plans to attend medical school as her next step. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, singing, watching movies, and playing Mario Kart!
