Nigel Cole
Summer Student
Nigel grew up and reside in Dallas, Texas, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business with a minor in Data Analytics Systems at Southern University and A&M College. For the past two summers, he has worked in the Osborne Lab as a summer intern. Working in the Osborne Lab has provided the opportunity to learn not only science but also develop organization and presentation skills. Nigel is passionate about how technology can be leveraged in medical research to improve patient outcomes. His hobbies are reading, studying emerging technologies, and playing golf.
Anthony Lopez
Technical Assistant II
Anthony graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Chemistry. His work focused on how genes drive metastasis, and the similarities between gene expression in stem cells and metastasized cells.
Isaiah Sanchez
Summer Student
Isaiah grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico and moved to Lubbock to pursue biological research at Texas Tech University. He worked in the Osborne Lab during the summer of 2023 as part of the AMGEN Scholars Program at UT Southwestern. He is set to graduate with a B.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology in the spring of 2024 and hopes to start his Ph.D. journey right after. In his free time, Isaiah enjoys playing volleyball, weightlifting, cooking, and keeping up with new shows.
