A neurosteroid intervention for menopausal and perimenopausal depression

Are you experiencing symptoms of menopause? Feeling down or depressed?

UT Southwestern Medical Center is doing a research study that may improve your mood and menopause symptoms.

You may qualify to participate if you are:

  • 40-67 years old
  • Had recent bothersome hot flashes
  • Not currently taking hormone pellets or any hormone therapy
Menopause

You may be eligible for a research study at UT Southwestern Medical Center evaluating how a medication treats menopausal depression and other symptoms of menopause. Women who participate will receive study medication and evaluations of their mood at no cost and will be compensated for their time over the course of the 16-week study.
