She is currently an undergraduate at Stanford University majoring in Human Biology, with minors in Medical Humanities and Creative Writing. Haley is passionate about neuroscience, the intersection of data and storytelling, and advancing health equity. Her work at the lab reflects her passion for using research and technology to better understand and support cognitive health in diverse populations. |
Graduate | Lakshmi Chandrabhanu is a Master of Science in Health Informatics candidate at UT Southwestern, Working Group Coordinator for THIA, and Strategic Programs Extern at The Intracare. She joined the IMAGINe Lab to pursue her capstone project, where she will develop a computable phenotype for Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and related dementias (ADRD) using structured clinical, imaging, and neuropathological data. Her goals include building visualizations for the OBI Explorer platform and establishing a self-service data repository. |
Graduate | Zaid A. Soomro is a graduate student in the Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics program at the McWilliams School of Biomedical Informatics (MSBMI) at UTHealth Houston. He is a physician-scientist with expertise in oncology, clinical research, and project management, and he currently serves as a Clinical Protocol Administration Manager for a data management team at the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center. Joining the IMAGINe Lab to pursue his interest in neuroinformatics and complete his practicum, Zaid aims to collaborate with the team on an informatics-based project to develop and validate a novel computable phenotype for headaches. |
