Expertise in Pediatric Ophthalmology, Strabismus, Extraocular Muscles, and Neuroscience
Dr. Jolene Rudell is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of California, San Diego and Principal Investigator of the Rudell Lab. Her lab aims to better understand strabismus and extraocular muscle disease and seeks to improve treatments for strabismus patients. Our collaboration utilizes image-based computational analyses, computational modeling, and mechanical testing of extraocular muscles to help accomplish those aims.
