Ashley Solmonson, Ph.D.
Dr. Ashley Solmonson is an Assistant Professor in the Cecil H. and Ida Green Center for Reproductive Biology Sciences and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Ashley received her B.S. in biology from Sam Houston State University in Hunstville, Texas. She went on to gain a Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Texas at Austin under the mentorship of Dr. Edward Mills, Ph.D.
Ashley performed her postdoctoral training with Dr. Ralph DeBerardinis M.D., Ph.D. at Children’s Medical Center Research Institute at UT Southwestern. Her research focus was characterization of inborn errors of metabolism during in utero development.
