With a background in engineering biological molecules to target the tumor microenvironment, our lab is exploring opportunities to utilize molecular engineering techniques to develop immune-active therapies. To accomplish this, intricate knowledge of the immune microenvironment of tumors and the biologic activity is critical. We aim to use our investigations of human and murine tumors to inform approaches to develop immune targeted therapies.
