Meet the PI
Tadamoto Isogai, PhD
Dr. Isogai was trained at Leiden University (M.Sc.) and The Netherlands Cancer Institute, The Netherlands (Ph.D.). He did his postdoctoral training with Prof. Gaudenz Danuser before joining the Lyda Hill Department of Bioinformatics as an Assistant Professor in 2023. He enjoys interacting with lab members and colleagues to brainstorm innovative ideas and creative experimental approaches to challenge dogmas in the field.
Tada was born and raised in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, and is fluent in Dutch and Japanese. Outside the lab, he enjoys spending time with his children, and when time permits, roasting coffee beans and brewing coffee.
We are looking for motivated and creative scientists with an interest in biochemistry, molecular cell biology, quantitative microscopy, and application of statistical models in biology. We believe that our unique multidisciplinary environment nurtures curiosity and will allow trainees to formulate and explore interesting questions to solve important questions in biology.
