Postdoctoral position, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, Texas

A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Duojia (DJ) Pan, Dept. of Physiology and Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI), UT Southwestern Medical Center (Dallas, Texas, USA) to study molecular mechanisms of tissue growth and homeostasis. We use a combination of Drosophila and mouse genetics, biochemistry, cell biology, and chemical biology to discover and characterize growth-control signaling pathways. The NIH- and HHMI-funded lab provides an excellent training environment for preparing postdoctoral fellows for independent research careers.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree and a strong background in molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, or biochemistry. Interested individuals should send their CV and a cover letter to duojia.pan@utsouthwestern.edu.
