Our first NIH grant has been funded!
We are incredibly grateful for this support, which marks an exciting milestone for the Wang Lab. This award will enable us to advance our research on the mechanisms of human mitochondrial translation and pursue new discoveries in mitochondrial biology. We look forward to the exciting science ahead and to sharing our progress with the community.

Welcome Isabelle and Jaseng to the lab!
We were excited to welcome two new trainees to the lab this summer! Isabelle Tran, a high school student, joined us through the STARS program (second from the left in the photo), and Jaseng Ing, a college student, joined the lab as a summer intern (third from the left). We celebrated their arrival with a delicious hot pot lunch at Shoo Loong Kan Hot Pot and look forward to an exciting summer of research together.
