Wei Lab

Fight against Childhood cancer

Research Statement

The Wei Lab studies the cellular and molecular mechanisms that allow pediatric cancers to survive treatment and recur. Using single-cell and spatial technologies alongside functional experimental models, we investigate the regulatory networks that drive cancer stemness, cellular plasticity, and tumor evolution. We combine techniques in developing bench experimental models and AI tools to identify new therapeutic vulnerabilities and accelerate the development of more effective treatments for children with cancer.
