The Chung Lab is looking for highly motivated individuals to pursue projects leveraging cutting-edge technologies to study in vitro and in vivo models of hematopoiesis, with extensive use of mouse models of disease and stem cell transplantation assays. We also study primary patient specimens derived from the clinical programs at UTSW in xenotransplantation models. Individuals who join our lab will have the opportunity to interact and collaborate with the rich community of basic and translational scientists at UTSW, as well as a team of medical oncologists specializing in hematologic malignancies.
Postdoctoral candidates must hold a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree and should possess strong laboratory and analytical skills, a record of peer-reviewed publications, and proficiency in oral and written scientific presentations. Applicants with prior experience in hematopoiesis and stem cell biology are particularly encouraged to apply, but we will also consider candidates with strong backgrounds in molecular biology, biochemistry, cancer biology, and immunology.
Interested individuals should send a CV, a statement of interest, and a list of three references.
