The UT Southwestern team (Dr. Zhijian "James" Chen, Dr. Baran D. Sumer, and Dr. Jinming Gao) has been awarded a Cancer Moonshot i3 Center as part of the Immuno-Oncology Translational Network (IOTN) from the National Cancer Institute. Our center is focused on establishing nano-immune-engineering strategies to bridge basic immunology discoveries with nanotechnology to advance cancer immunotherapy.
