We use a unique neonatal database from Parkland Hospital to study the effects of premature birth. We hope that by studying the effects of preterm birth, we can improve lifelong health outcomes for current and future patients.
The Investigators
Kara Goss, M.D.
Dr. Goss collaborates with a multidisciplinary group of researchers to study the heart and lungs long after preterm birth clinical studies.
Mambarambath Jaleel, M.D.
Dr. Jaleel oversees the clinical operations at the four neonatal intensive care units (NICU) affiliated to the Division of Pediatrics: Parkland Health & Hospital System, Children’s Health, William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital, and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas.
Charles R. Rosenfeld, M.D.
Dr. Rosenfeld is a neonatologist and served as the original primary investigator for the Parkland NICU Database.
Luc Brion, M.D.
Dr. Brion is the current primary investigator overseeing management and use of the Parkland NICU Database.
