Located in the Department of Ophthalmology, the Campello Lab focuses on the molecular mechanisms of retinal aging and neurodegeneration, as well as the disease biology of inherited retinal disorders. Dr. Campello's lab develops gene-agnostic therapeutic strategies and engineers intravitreal gene therapies, bridging fundamental discover with translational innovation to preserve vision in aging and disease.

The Louros Lab uses a hybrid approach combining molecular biophysics, structural biology, and bioinformatics to investigate protein stability, misfolding, and aggregation, with a particular interest in neurodegenerative diseases.

Yu Lab is interested in the molecular and cellular basis of Alzheimer’s disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, frontotemporal dementia, and related neurodegenerative disorders.
