The Wert Laboratory is interested in hiring motivated graduate students, post-docs, and research technicians. If you are interested in joining the laboratory, please email a copy of your CV to Dr. Wert.
We are particularly interested in someone who has skills in the following:
- Animal husbandry, including, but not limited to: breeding, weaning, and genotyping.
- Cell culture, including, but not limited to: cell transfection, flow cytometry, gene editing, and human pluripotent stem cell biology.
Preferred qualifications include: prior experience with mouse husbandry, timed breeding for embryology research, animal surgical procedures and anesthesia delivery, prior work with human pluripotent stem cells, cell transfection, gene editing technology, and/or the motivation and desire to learn these techniques.
