In our laboratory, we engage in multi-disciplinary translational research endeavors that aim to advance the understanding and treatment of various types of cancer, including hematologic malignancies and solid tumors. Our work spans different domains, encompassing the investigation of biological mechanisms underlying cancer progression and metastasis, drug resistance, the development of innovative drugs, targeted delivery systems for therapeutic agents ranging from nano-sized systems to medical devices, and the creation of patient-derived tissue-engineered pre-clinical models for precision medicine in cancer therapy.
Overall, our lab aims to translate our laboratory findings into clinical and entrepreneurial approaches, including clinical trials, patent, collaboration with BioPharma, and spinning off new startup companies.
