About Us
The current focus of Ren’s lab is to dissect the molecular mechanisms of tissue healing in Osteonecrosis (ON). We are particularly interested in stem cell differentiation, angiogenesis, and the effects of obesity on tissue regeneration in ON. My lab utilizes surgical and genetic mouse models, (sc)RNA sequencing, “multi-omics” approaches combined with various biochemical and cell culture techniques to investigate the biology of ON in both cellular and molecular levels.
