The Kraus Lab is one of the eight research labs within the Green Center for Reproductive Biology Sciences at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
The Cecil H. and Ida Green Center for Reproductive Biology Sciences at UT Southwestern Medical Center are working to redefine reproductive biology research by combining state-of-the-art methodology (such as genomics and bioinformatics) and a focus on molecular mechanisms with a broad view of the topic, including aspects of metabolism, inflammation, and stem cells. The basic science faculty in the Center are developing new methods and technologies to study fundamental mechanisms in modern biology, with a focus on gene regulation. The basic scientists collaborate directly with clinical faculty from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, who are asking questions related to human health, such as preterm delivery and cancers of the reproductive tract.
