The cell culture laboratory has the capacity for routine cell culture (feeding and subculturing) and maintenance (cryopreservation for both adherent and suspension cell cultures). It has two 6-foot Laminar flow biosafety hoods, two CO2 incubators (Thermo Scientific) for primary and immortalized cell cultures, a basic inverted microscope (Olympus CKX41), a cryogenic rack and box system (ThermoFisher), and a hemocytometer cell counting chamber system (Sigma Aldrich). It also has an egg incubator for chorioallantoic membrane tumor models, a clinical centrifuge (Eppendorf), a mixer (Thermo Scientific), a large refrigerator, and an icemaker.
