The microscopy room is a dark room off the molecular biology lab that is equipped with an upright fluorescence microscope (Zeiss Axio A1) and an inverted motorized microscope with fluorescence capability and comprehensive imaging software (Olympus Life Science IX83). Both microscopes are equipped with a variety of filter sets (DAPI, FITC, TRITC, Cy5) to image most fluorescent dyes. A prototype flow chamber system was built and equipped with an sCMOS camera (OptiMOS, Photometrics Qimaging) that is confocal to a HIFU transducer and a receive transducer for in vitro microbubble studies including targeting and sonoporation.
